Our expert spa therapists will be there for you, whether you are enjoying the aromatherapy steam room, winding down in the forest sauna or experiencing a total cleanse in the spa’s unique salt therapy room. The experience is completed by the large indoor/outdoor infinity swimming pool.

With sublime panoramic views over the entire Wyndham Halcyon Retreat site;  all the way across the golf course and beyond the fishing lakes, this exclusive environment for adults is a haven of ultimate tranquillity.

Luxury Spa and wellness Chateau

This €5m project is the renovation and extension of an existing seventeenth century chateau in rural France to create a destination spa for the wider area. The 900m2 Spa is situated within a holiday resort that is currently under-construction. Mador Architects have been involved for several years in master planning and are over-seeing a phased construction process. Construction is underway.

The existing medieval era Petit Chateau building will house:

Ground Floor

  • The main entrance lounge
  • Nail bar
  • The cafe and kitchen
  • New grand stair down to Spa levels

First Floor

  • 3 individual treatment rooms
  • 1 couples treatment room complete with thermal bath
  • A rasul ‘mud bath’

Second Floor

  • 5 individual treatment rooms
  • Staff accommodation

SPA EXTENSION:

The spa has been designed to sit discreetly behind the existing building creating south facing spaces away from the resort with a serene 100sqm courtyard olive tree garden and a wraparound poolside terrace enjoying views to the lakes beyond.

The spa level will also offer :

  • 176m² indoor-outdoor pool with seamless glazed connection
  • 62m² poolside spa relaxation space
  • 72m² garden side spa relaxation space
  • separate sauna facing olive garden
  • hammam ‘steam’ room
  • cold plunge pool
  • thermal salt spa within the refurbished turret
  • south terrace includes a fire pit and 2 outdoor jacuzzis
  • guest toilets and changing rooms
