Exquiste Château Hotel
Set amidst beautiful grounds in the heart of rural France, Wyndham Halcyon Retreat’s luxury hotel offers luxurious and indulgent hotel accommodation coupled with a fine dining restaurant that offers a superb culinary experience.

Originally built in 1898 and given as a wedding gift by Viscount Paul du Curel to his new wife, the Grand Chateau enjoys a fascinating history.
It played a key local role during World War II where parts of the building and grounds were used as a military hospital being of vital help to injured Allied Airmen.
In more recent times, the Chateau became the residence for President Francois Mitterrand on many of his visits to the area. To this day, the Grand Chateau and surrounding areas remain a place full of character and wonder.
